If you realise that planning a trip on your own is daunting, it’s nice to have someone take care of everything for you.

Here are a few charity or organised events that offer the London to Amsterdam cycling challenge with less organisation or planning on your part.

Charity Cycle Rides to Amsterdam

Big Issue European City Cycling Challenge

The Big Issue organise a cycling challenge to a European city every year since 2006. The ride is fully guided and in groups of up to 12, meaning you don’t need to know where you’re going or need a map of any kind! The destination does change every year, but certainly one to look out for.

The last ride took went to Amsterdam and took place between the 18th to the 21st of September 2015. Registrations are also open for the 2016 ride. Entrants must pledge to raise £1,100.

3 Cities Cycle

A dedicated charity event bound for Amsterdam from London, with a little stopover in Bruges over 5 days. This ride caters for everyone and all abilities. The next trip is the 8th to the 12th of June 2016.

Being a charity related ride, when you sign up, you are then asked to select your chosen charity. You pay a deposit of £99 and then commit to raising at least £1,500 for that charity. What more could you want, raising money whilst enjoying some great sights too!
